Anthracnose is a disease which often found attacking plants. This can cause dieback or leaf tip damage of mature plants then followed by infection in the fruits, Consequently, this result decrease productivity. One causes anthracnose pathogenic fungus Colletotrichum magnum. infect several cultivated plants, one papaya study aimed to determine effectiveness cinnamon extract (Cinnamomum burmanni. Blume) suppressing growth C. magnum and analyze class compounds contained extract. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 1 negative control, positive 5 treatments concentrations 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, each treatment was
 repeated 4 times tested phytochemical screening. results invitro showed that able inhibit as seen from MIC test results, namely concentration 0.6% an inhibition zone diameter 8.37 mm. increased, obtained getting bigger. what you get 5% has largest among treatments, 19.77 screening on contains groups alkaloids, steroids, phenolic compounds, saponins, flavonoids, tannins.
